Alakheikhayaelethu Farm & Food Project.

We have established 4 Vegetable Farms at 4 Public Schools Khatlamping Primary School; Sir Pierre Van Ryneveld High School; Norkem Park High School and Kanana Primary School. - We have donated 12 Dustbins; 12 sets of Tools; Over 15kg Of Vegetable seeds; 30 bags of compost at 4 public schools in collaboration with The Department Of Agriculture and Rural Development and The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and The Environment.
Annual Environmental Awareness Campaign with The Department Of Fisheries, Forestry and The Environment our partnership withThe Department involves creating educational awareness on matters related to the preservation and conservation of the environment as well as careers related to the environment. The awareness includes amongst others, the waste management, climate change impact, celebration of environmental calendar days like World Environment Day, World Oceans Day, Word Day to Combat desertification at Sir Pierre, Khatlamping Primary School and Kanana Primary School.
We took 500 learners who attend Kanana Primary School to Pretoria Zoo in partnership with The Department Of Fisheries, Forestry and Environment.
We handed over 100 Vegetable Pack donations to 16 Early Childhood Development Centers in Kanana Informal Settlement.
We donated an in kind donation of 100 Vegetables to Norkem Park High School learners. - Rice from Rise Against Hunger donation to 31 Early Childhood Development Centers from Kanana Informal Settlement with 1500 learners benefiting.
