We are committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces that nurture creativity, resilience, and wellbeing among children and youth. Through holistic support and community-driven programmes, we enable young people to develop confidence, skills, and hope for a better future.

About Us

The Pink Forum is a youth-centered organization currently operating in Tembisa and Kempton Park in Gauteng Province. The organization runs a number of established projects that are aimed at responding to the socio-economic challenges that confront young people living in disadvantaged communities. These projects are geared towards uplifting and providing varied forms of assistance to young people. The work is also informed by an aim of becoming a catalyst and safe space wherein creativity and innovation can be fostered.

Since our inception, we have impacted over 19,735 children, supported 44 schools and ECD centre's, and created 2 permanent safe spaces (Pink Rooms). Our Dream Hubs and ICT programs have resulted in the installation of 32 computers, while our four community food gardens contribute to feeding more than 3,500 children monthly. Over 300 trained volunteers have supported our work across townships and urban centres, helping us deliver services from rented homes, school facilities, and informal community sites.

What We Do

Focus Areas

The Pink Rooms

The Pink Forum provide's psychosocial support by opening safe spaces wherein our beneficiaries  can share experiences and receive peer as well as professional support and advice.

The Dream Hub

Dream Hubs are creative, technology-enabled spaces where children gain access to digital literacy, creative learning, and expression. Located in schools, community centres, and refurbished classrooms, each hub is a safe zone for learning coding, research skills, creative arts, and more.

Children's outreach program

The Pink Forum Children’s Outreach Program provides school shoes, sanitary pads, and food packs to children in need. We aim to restore dignity, improve wellbeing, and ensure that no child’s education is disrupted by poverty.
